My top 5 places to eat on May 17th

Yay, it’s open day everyone! We can finally eat indoors because we all know eating outside was not going to be realistic because of the British weather ha ha!

We can now go to restaurants following the rule of six and wearing masks and social distancing when we are not at our tables!

Here are my top 5 favourite places to eat that I think you should try if you are struggling for inspiration of where to start. These places also do some lovely drinks as well!

 1. Yakii sushi

(4 Fairfax street Coventry CV1 5SR)

This is one of the newer places I have tried only recently as takeout and I totally recommend you go visit because their chicken katsu curry is out of this world even for a picky eater like myself. There was just the right amount of everything. I loved it!

2. Shimla spice

(3 Butts Coventry CV1 3GJ)

I tried this pre-lockdown and I had the best time I absolutely loved it here and it was super safe and the staff were lovely and I had the gorgeous tandoori skillet with onions and garlic naan. This is my favourite Indian restaurant and I totally recommend!

3. Bistro Pierre

(Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, Broadgate, Coventry CV1 1LL)

One of my personal favourites here! I had the chicken with mushroom sauce and mash. The atmosphere in here is lovely making it feel like you are at a restaurant on holiday abroad. 10/10 with amazing customer service

4. Cosy club

(Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, Coventry CV1 1LL)

The cocktails here are exceptional and so are the dishes and the scenery is amazing for your post lockdown meal out Instagram pictures!

5. Rosies

(23 Livery St, Leamington Spa CV32 4NP)

The best cream tea is here! I loved my tea, scone with jam and cream. This is a proper old school café and it is super cute and lovely with a nice pink theme. Great for photos too!

Enjoy your meals out! Stay safe and follow all the COVID rule!
